Hosting and delivery
The WordPress site is hosted on an OVH virtual private server in Canada. Cloudflare proxies public traffic and may process IP addresses, request headers, device and network information, security events, and diagnostic data to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare may process data through its global network.
Analytics
Google Site Kit deploys Google Analytics 4 (GA4). GA4 collects information about visits and interactions, which may include truncated or derived location information, device and browser details, referral information, pages viewed, and interaction events. Analytics tracking is disabled for logged-in users.
GA4 may use cookies including _ga and a property-specific _ga_* cookie to distinguish browsers and sessions. Event-level GA4 data is retained for two months.
Accounts, login, and password reset
The site has a private login page. WordPress may set a temporary test cookie when the login page is visited. Successful login creates authentication cookies and screen-preference cookies. Standard WordPress login cookies generally last two days, or two weeks when “Remember Me” is selected; screen preferences may last one year. Logging out removes authentication cookies.
If a password reset is requested, WordPress processes the account identifier, request details, and IP address and includes the requesting IP address in the reset email. Account information is retained while the account is required, subject to operational and legal needs.
Comments and Gravatar
New comments are disabled site-wide. Historical comments and their metadata may remain stored. Where a historical comment used an email address, a hashed version may have been sent to the Gravatar service operated by Automattic to retrieve an avatar. Automattic’s privacy information is available at automattic.com/privacy.
Historical comment records may include the submitted name, email address, website, comment, IP address, browser user agent, moderation status, and submission time. Comment convenience cookies, where previously selected, may persist for up to one year.
Embedded content and external links
Pages may link to or embed material from other websites. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices and may collect data when their content is loaded or their links are followed.
Retention and rights
Information is retained only as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, site security and operation, record keeping, and applicable obligations. Historical comments and their metadata may be retained indefinitely unless deletion is appropriate and authorized. Server and security logs are retained according to the operational settings of the hosting, caching, and security services.
You may request access to or correction or deletion of personal information associated with you, subject to identity verification and information that must be retained for security, administration, or applicable obligations. Contact [email protected].
